International Women’s Day Panel: The Power of Women in Leadership

Join us for the Power of Women in Leadership, a free and open-to-the-public panel discussion in honor of International Women’s Day at Lawson’s Finest Liquids Taproom in Waitsfield, VT. This inspiring event will highlight Vermont’s thriving women-led businesses and feature candid discussions about the successes and challenges of being a trailblazing woman in business.
The panel will be facilitated by Adeline Druart, CEO of Lawson’s Finest Liquids, and will feature an esteemed lineup of women leaders:
- Emily Bush – Director, Vermont Women’s Fund
- Sas Stewart – Founder, Adventure Dinner
- Libby Parent – President, Vermont’s Original Bag Balm
- Sascha Mayer – Cofounder and Chief Experience Officer, Mamava
- Karen Colberg – CEO, King Arthur Baking
The event will include a keynote address from Emily Bush, Director of the Vermont Women’s Fund, at the Vermont Community Foundation. With over 17 years of experience working in development, Emily has dedicated her career to advancing opportunities for women and girls. She has expertise in leadership and fundraising and has worked with many nonprofit organizations including The Clinton Foundation, Girls Who Code, AI4All, and Moms First. Emily resides in Manchester, VT with her husband and four young boys.
Following the panel discussion, attendees are invited to an informal networking event featuring the debut of Powerhouse Pale Ale, created and brewed by the Lawson’s Finest Women & Non-Binary Association. A portion of the proceeds from this special brew will benefit the Vermont Women’s Fund, further supporting initiatives that empower women and girls across the state.
This event is a unique opportunity to hear from and engage with some of Vermont’s most accomplished women in business while celebrating the power of women-led leadership.
