Welcome New Council Members

VWF Council 2025 Web

We proudly announce the newest members of our council, representing a diverse and dynamic group of leaders, advocates, and professionals from communities across Vermont. Council members bring deeply relevant experience in philanthropy, education, health, business, and local community development. With this new set of council members, the council nearly doubles in size, strengthening our ability to connect with more communities, identify emerging needs, and champion gender-equity initiatives.

Representing Local Communities

“A larger council ensures greater representation of the Vermont Women’s Fund throughout the state. By expanding and diversifying our council, we’re deepening our presence in local communities and amplifying our ability to support programs that advance women and girls,” shared Emily Bush, Director of the Vermont Women’s Fund. “The work and dedication of VWF council members cannot be overstated.”

Council members play a hands-on role through monthly meetings and committee work focused on grants, outreach, and governance—helping direct funding and strengthen community partnerships. In their local communities, they raise awareness, inform aligned organizations of grant opportunities, and support events and fundraising year-round. VWF Council members serve a three-year term and may serve up to two consecutive terms.
